Um...Just found a glitch. If the enemy and I hit each other at the exact same time, and we both fly into the water, it kind of breaks mochi's high score system so I have to refresh the page. This same glitch also breaks the game and causes me to always start on the same level, not as a retry or anything like that, but I'll have like infinite lives, always "Respawning" on the same level. Although this isn't exactly that serious, since it's not like my score stays with me, each time I die it resets to 0 as it should.
It's simple, and the animation has that overly-smooth look that I like. What I mean by that is just that 8-bit in flash animation and games just seems to be super smooth, since console games that use pixels have them moving through each pixel across the screen, whilst in flash we can choose the speed, so it seems faster and smoother than a normal game would go. It also has that slight addicting feel to it, since I feel like I want to play it again and again for a good score, although I COULD play something else.
This is so much fun! I enjoyed this all day at work today. I like how you have a simple system of get hit once and be thrown off the platform however I think it would be heaps cooler if you and the enemies had a little bit of health so you can get hit only a short distance the first few times but then the final hit you fly really far.
